Since my last den post, we've changed a lot in the den. When I sat down to think about what we've specifically done, I started listing off things like: purchased furniture that fit better, got a rug, installed lighting, hung artwork, added house plants. You know, just the basic things you do to decorate a room.

I bought this tree about two and a half years ago when I was nearing the end of my pregnancy with Harriet. I was freaking excited. I'd heard they are finicky about light and that they hate being moved around, so I was also stinking nervous. I figured I was about to step up to keeping another human alive, I was definitely up for the challenge of a tree. Meh.

It's been a pretty autumn week here in Oklahoma and it looks like the leaves may be thinking about changing! We had a home styling session this week with a fun couple, and we can't wait to share their progress with you over the coming months. In other news, Palmer started burning incense (cedar!) and Daly is going on a big sewing retreat next weekend with Owl & Drum.

Tasha has amazing taste as evidenced by her handmade textiles, put-together 80s home and general loveliness. However, Tasha's bedroom had her feeling not so good. She described it as a dark place she hated spending time in. Yikes! No one deserves to feel that way about their bedroom. Instead of avoiding a dark, dingy, and sad bedroom, Tasha longed to "spend lazy mornings cuddled in bed with coffee and a book and [her] babies."
