In addition to all the wonderful design content we found around the internet for you, we have some exciting developments for our business to share. In January, we are welcoming several of our small business friends into studio spaces we are devising for them along the north wall of the shop. Colorful Vintage + Modern Kitchen Renovation in Tulsa, OK

Colorful Vintage + Modern Kitchen Renovation in Tulsa, OK

Well, I can't believe it. Our kitchen is actually done. Done, I say! It's been so long, I'm ashamed for you to look back to see the date of the "before" kitchen post.

Okay. It was April 30th.

So that means the kitchen's been about six months in the making. Now to be completely fair, our kitchen has been functional since mid July, but the "finishing touches" took nearly as long as the bulk of the demo/installation. But whatever. It was our first renovation and we went at it without a general contractor and it's done now, so who cares if it took six months? So much is happening! My house (Daly) was featured on Glitter Guide yesterday! Palmer's kitchen reveal and full tour is scheduled for Sunday. And on Monday, our episode of Little Yellow Couch Style Matters podcast goes live. Please indulge us as we get dorkily excited. Finally, our homes are all full of plants now because of the drop in temperatures. I feel like I live in my own little jungle. All of that AND we surfed the internet for you and found some really lovely design content you should rest your pretty eyes on for a moment. Treat yourself. It's Friday.

The House that Tulsa Built: Local Fall Tables

The House that Tulsa Built: Local Fall Tables

Shopping small in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and why it matters

We are four and a half years into this life adventure of small business owning,  and we've grown very passionate about carrying locally made and handmade goods in our shop, as well as cheering on our fellow small businesses. We recently gathered some of these Tulsans to set fall tables together. A nice project for making something really beautiful–look at these gorgeous photos!–but an even more important endeavor to show what a table set with locally gathered goods represents–the time, heart, creativity, friendships, passion, hopes, and families of people you see each day. These scenes are the heartbeat of our city, the vibrancy of its people.
