A-List Weekend Reading

Flower garden blooms are well underway. I'm pruning them back so they will get bushier and bloom more! And while the garden seems more spare than last year, I am happy to report my daughter Harriet has at least a couple new flowers to clip each morn…

The table runner I made at House Sparrow's plant dyeing workshop last week makes me smile when I catch a glimpse of it during the day. Also, my Foxy Pots mug is a nice companion to it. PS I need to wax my table to get rid of those rings! Ha. -Palmer

Hi! This week has been a lot about resting and recovering. One of us has been sick, the other tired. Thank goodness we like what we do and can't seem to help wanting to put more pretty out into the world. Monday night we hosted the gal who brought macrame back, Emily Katz, for her book tour and a workshop. I loved spending time with a fellow creative who passionately does what she loves and puts a lot of meaning and heart behind her work. It's refreshing and invigorating. It  made me mark some dates to take more of our house macrame artist's classes (House Sparrow Fine Nesting!). Guys, my knots were so tight Monday night, and if we are honest, I think that signals an unhealthy stress level; I am committed to crafting myself into a calmer self. All that said, looking at beautiful spaces also helps me breathe a little deeper–I hope it does for you too. Enjoy the links below!

Can't figure out my favorite thing about this tour– the ceiling, the chairs, the artwork? Also, I wish my landscaping could be like this.

Did anyone else enjoy the no makeup home tours from a couple weeks ago? This was one of my favorites.

I love this dreamy handmade pottery by our friend Carrie. And while we're talking handmade, we're into this DIY planter.

Crushin' on the rugs in this home and the sofa in this home. We have similar ones in the shop somewhat often.

Orange wallpaper! Enough said.

Tis the season for outdoor living advice. Well, maybe if you're not in hot Oklahoma that is.
